Enjoy a private guided tour in the recently renovated Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Your private tour is customizable. You will use the fast lane and are permitted to stay anywhere between about 1 to 4 hours depending on your needs, though we do recommend a 1.5-hour duration.

Meet your private licensed guide in central Amsterdam and head to the Rijksmuseum. The focus of this tour is on the 17th century Dutch masters like Rembrandt, Frans Hals and Johannes Vermeer.

Per a request, we can also customize the tour for you. For example, your private guide will be happy to guide you through medieval and 16th century art, genre paintings (such as Jan Steen), maritime paintings, historical paintings, the airplane FK23 Bantam, the paintings of Vincent van Gogh on the first floor, the building itself and much more. Venture out of Amsterdam for the day and visit the beautiful landscape of the areas outside the city. You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Amsterdam to begin the journey to Zaanse Schans.

The stop will be in Zaanse Schans with the characteristic village of windmills, there the group will visit a clog-maker and will see the demonstration of the realization, then will taste and discover the cheese factory where cheese is still made in the traditional way.

This area used to be an industrial area where many windmills were used for many different purposes. Only a few windmills survived and are restored to their original function. There is an oil mill, a paint mill and a spice mill. Besides the windmills, the Zaanse Schans is full of traditional green-timbered houses and warehouses.
